Zurvita – Check Out More About It

February 5th, 2010

I recently wrote an article about Zurvita, the home business opportunity I currently promote.

And while I usually do not pimp my opportunity on my personal blog much, I wanted to write a quick note about it due to my sheer excitement for what is going on.

First, I’m proud to say that my long term business partner is back with me….that would be my wife April.  She has never really helped with Zurvita but has always encouraged me.  I’m glad that we are teaming up to build something powerful, something that will change our lives and our children’s lives.

Second, I’m excited about the path they are taking.  Most MLM’s stick with the sell to consumers model, and there is nothing wrong with that.  Zurvita has learned that it is okay to be diverse and have a segment of products focused on business owners.

Finally, I’m just excited.  I think I’m forcing myself to grow up as a leader some and push myself past some boundries that I have, in particular getting over fear and shyness.  I’m not ashamed of what I do, but my actions never have shown that before.

So read the article and hop over to my Zurvita Blog – http://www.ZurvitaOpportunityBlog.com – for more information.

Leadership Series – “Leadership Gold” by John Maxell

January 27th, 2010

In the next week or two I will begin a leadership series on this blog in the form of written and video.  The series will be over “Leadership Gold” by John Maxwell.  This book is 26 chapters of leadership lessons.

I know I can become a better leader, and if you are reading this, you should know that you could become a better leader too!

If you want to join the series with me, I encourage you to purchase the book and follow along with me.

The book is 26 chapters.  I plan on doing 2 chapters a week and going over what I find are the high points on this blog.  I hope during this discussion we can grow together as leaders, learn a bit about ourselves, our high points, areas we can improve on, and learn a bit.

I know what while I am growing in my home business with Zurvita, I need to develop better leadership skills.  If I plan on growing a business of thousands, I must first better myself and learn how to lead myself, my family, and then small groups of people before I can lead large groups of people.

Be watching for the start date soon.

Network Marketing – 3 Simple Things You Must Possess In Order To Build A Successful Network Marketing Business

July 21st, 2009

I just got back from a great weekend in Nashville.  I attended the Zurvita Freedom Crusade.  The atmosphere, the announcements, everything….just made for an exciting weekend.

Coming out of this event Iam focused on reaching a goal and will do everything I can to reach it.

But looking at some things today, and some conversations I’ve had over the last couple of days, it got me to thinking:  Brent, what is it going to take to build a successful network marketing business?

I know a lot of people have the same question.  In fact, network marketing is promoted as the average person’s way of building an extrodinary business and financial stability for their family…all things that are correct.

I’ve observed the top leaders I have associated with over the last several years.  I have seen their characteristics and their ability to create an incredible network marketing success story, not only for themselves, but for others.

This is what I concluded it needed to build a successful network marketing business:

1.  Integrity

Above all, this is key.  The old saying is that the only thing you carry with you to the grave is your integrity.  I believe that if you operate your business with the highest level of integrity, eventually the right people will be attracted to you.

Likewise, if you operate your business without integrity, these type of people will follow you.  Business has a hard time growing and prospering when the orgnaization lacks integrity.

2.  Focus

I’m the first to admit that this is my weak point.  I have lacked focus.

Now, there are two types of focus:  The inability to stick it out with one company, and the inability to keep working consistently enough to see results.  The latter was my problem, but the former is dangerous as well.

So I now focus.  I have a goal and I’m not stopping work until I reach it.  If you focus and commit to be focused, I believe you can achieve great things.

3.  A Dream

Without a dream the people perish.  Such a powerful statement, but so true.  I do not believe in living to the status quo.  I do not believe that I have to be confined to life as is, but rather that through network marketing I can live an incredible life.

And I believe that nearly everyone can too, if they will stay focused on their dream and simply work.

Dreams are powerful.  They drive you, they make you determined, they give you hope.

Take it down now…..I’m going places in this industry.  I plan on building a team of people whose lives I touch, an army of people that I can help reach their dreams.  Knowing these three simply network marketing concepts I will go far, and you can go far too.

90 Day Internet Marketing Challenge

January 18th, 2009

So getting back into the swing of things I have decided that it is time to piece together a plan of action with my Internet Marketing.  In particular, I knew I needed a daily plan of tasks to do that will increase search engine rankings, exposure for my sites, prospects calling me (or purchasing my products), and fill my pipeline with qualified prospects.

So I have pieced together my 90 Day Internet Marketing Challenge.

The goal here is to do certain tasks each day.  This will ensure that I have a constant flow of fresh content to be picked up by the search engines, targeting certain keywords each week, and building a flow of visitors to my websites.

So here is my plan:

Step 1:  Identify keywords to use for each week.  Target only a handful of keywords each week.

Step 2:  One (1) article a day posted to a handful of article directories.

Step 3:  At least one video posted each day based on those keywords.  The great thing is with Traffic Geyser I can have that keyword targeted for video release up to 4 times.  I will schedule later releases of those videos over the next month or two, gaining maximum exposure for those keywords.  It helps that my business partner in Zurvita has released a lot of free videos for our team in order to handle video marketing.

Step 4:  Blog at least once a day.  Most days I’ll just use the articles.  Some days I’ll post in a video and some comments.  But mainly articles.

Step 5:  Once or twice a week I want to do a personal video blog.  I’ll simply record a short message on what I’m doing, how the Internet Marketing is going, if my traffic is increasing, what is going on with the Zurvita business, etc.

The key is going to be consistent daily action over the 90 days.  I plan to do some setup today in some areas and then start the challenge tomorrow.  The goal is to spend no more than 2 hours a day doing all of this, but will not rule out spending more than 2 hours at anything.

Be sure to check by here at brentworley.com to see how my 90 day Internet Marketing challenge is going.
